DTEC International has launched a new drug testing kit.
“This test involves a simple, non-invasive, five-second wipe on the skin,” said frugal director Ean Lewin, MD.
“The system gives the result, without an electronic reader, in five minutes, allowing a ‘clear’ driver to proceed.”
If, notwithstanding the result is positive, Dtec can have a specialist subcontractor on site in two hours to arrange legally defensible laboratory screening.
Mr Lewin added: “We can prepare Home Office traffic police specification breathalysers against alcohol sampling at the like time.
"Screening improves safety and cuts potential corporate manslaughter accountability. This will pay for itself by cutting downtime from repairs to mar caused by misjudgement.”
